I just recruited this guy he’s had 3 fights and he doesn’t want me as his manager I had this happen with another fighter before so i canceled his contract is there a reason why this is happening?

Sometimes I leave those guys to their last fight. I get them winnable fights and try up-skill them as much as I can before the end of their contracts. They usually resign.

Yes they do.
We personally think there is too much expectation that fighters will re-sign the contract regardless.
The game keeps track of every interaction of the manager in relation to the fighter it concerns.
