Finances and sign on fees

So I have a fighter who I took on for his debut and he has now become my first world champion. The problem I have is that I now seem to face a lose/lose situation with his contract up for renewal. His fee per fight seems fair and I made a good profit on his first title defence. But I don’t want to sign him to a 7 fight deal at multi millions as if he loses the title I’m going to make huge losses on every fight after that until I can renegotiate. But if I give him a fair 2 or 3 fight deal I end up shelling out millions on a signing on fee each time. How does anyone suggest I deal with this? Does anyone know if you can immediately renegotiate a contract if they lose a world title?

Yes you can renegotiate following any loss more often than not

Sign a long term contract. If he loses he will always renegotiate to a fair deal.
