How can I make the game as realistic as possible?

Hi I wanna start off by saying how much I love this game and how addicted I am to it. I recently started a new save but I have two questions……how can I make my save as realistic as possible. And how do you guys make your save as realistic as you can?

One of the main things you can do is to only / mostly sign boxers from the country of you gym. I do this, signing only uk boxers. Makes the game harder and I would say more realistic.
