I saw one 6’11! Plus crazy amateur duel meet the only one I was In! Any boxers over 7 feet?

I am just wondering not really important like my post about how Cuban boxers are way underrated and there are not enough of them I was a amateur boxer who went to regional and in the 2000 Olympics the lead up in 1999 I was a late replacement for a duel meet against Ray Martinez Jr who was two weight classes below me but had about 360-40 amateur record! That is a estimate and I had one novice Title and lost in the Golden Gloves simi finals, and then won the first two rounds of the ABF’s in Arizona and got lucky in the final as I had two standing 8 counts against me in the first as I was trying land my left hook that was my big knock out punch and after landing two he was timing them! It was a 4 round fight that year to get guys ready to turn pro but only 2 minutes. By the way he was 6’4 and I am 5’8 and we were fighting at Middleweight as my trainer without doing any research had me go out to eat to miss my normal Welterweight limit because he thought Roman Olives was fighting he went 17-1 as a pro! Anyways I caught my opponent in the fourth round with :30 to :40 seconds left as I faked an uppercut from the outside the biggest no no in boxing but I pulled it right back to defend when I saw he went for it and landed one of my best left hooks if not my best and I won the Championship in in only my ninth open fight after starting 5-5 (2/1) and winning 1 of 5 split decision in my novice fighting with a second round stoppage at light heavyweight against a 7-0 (5) and 9-0 (7) after the State Fair Tournament that year as I had him down in the first and ran out off gas as he landed 44-2 in punches before the stoppage! I lost weight and one it the next year at Middleweight going 2-0 (1)! So my tenth open fight was against the soon to be Mexican representative with about 400 fights to my nineteen with a record off 14-6 (8)! All because the original opponent was injured and the next fighter on the list didn’t want the fight as he was preparing for the Olympic box-off’s as were all the top 8 qualifiers! The ninth ranked fighter was making his professional debut in a few weeks and the number #10 fighter was injured! Off the next 10. All but 2 had signed pro contracts so couldn’t fight and the other two did not respond I was told so four days before the fight I was offered and I wanted that experience even if he blew me out! I lost a Unanimous Decision in three rounds 29-28! As I was a Super Lightweight for the fight and he was a Super Featherweight but we were within 10 pounds so they made it work!

Cool story
It’s fantastic that finally our boxing game world is starting to meet people from the real world. We’ve getting a lot of tips and advise from boxing manager and agent Adrian Lewis at the moment who looks after people like Brian Norman Jr amongst others.

When we started out making the game many years ago we were quite involved with people in the Lennox Lewis camp. Through that got the input of Manny Steward and through him many of the Kronk team from backroom guys all the way through to Kronk fighters from Hilmer Kenty all the way up to Tommy Hearns!

Very cool that in this incarnation of the game that we’ve getting people like you to add their experience. When I get the next amateur workload ready I’m going to come and pick your brains like I picked those of Manny and his team

I would be happy to help with any questions about my experiences well I boxer as it goes beyond just my on experience in the ring as I have known many contenders and champions as on off my trainers, my last as I had only one fight with him as I was getting older and had lost the desire to compete but still wanted to spar with the young guys! He was a middleweight who fought into his 50’s and looked the same as he did at 25 named Rollin Williams an amazingly nice and talented fighter who Roy Jones Jr. said he was the fastest fighter he ever fought even faster than the great James Toney!
