Not sure if this has been reported already. I haven’t recently allocated any points for this boxer but his potential has dropped to -3.

Negative potential could be used to represent deterioration of stats (over and above what would normally happen through age) due to events such as prison sentence, drug test failure, alcohol addiction, loss of passion for the sport, laziness due to wealth, too much focus on being a celebrity, etc.
Negative potential could mean that not only will the fighter not improve, they are on a path to decline more rapidly than normal.
