Pls change automatic corner stoppage

Pls change the corner automatically stopping the fight, im winning the whole time and lose because of it otherwise everything is great

@yousuck45lol the reason why your corner is automatically stopping the fight is because your not listening to the corner even when your winning there can be moments where your fighter is hurt and when you don’t listen to the corner you are making it worse for your fighter, therefore the corner will stop the fight. You need to listen to the corner like in real life a fighter needs their corner!!!

I feel like I do though, whenever they ask for body shots I aim for body, etc. maybe I need to stop taking so much damage lol

ok then it should be fine. There is a cover up strategy. Though if the corner didn’t say, i wouldn’t recommend covering up unless your fighter is taking so much damage, cus u might lose the round, but listen to the corner, if it tells you your fighter is hurt, then u might need to use cover up for a round. If you are confident your fighter in a fight is COMFORTABLY AHEAD, (this is my personal experience and choice), if it is a 12-rounder, i usually would cover up for rounds 11 and 12, even if corner didn’t ask, to stay safe and not take so much damage, at the same time, still edge the decision (like my champions usually get 115-113, 116-112, or 117-111 unanimously). Though if you want KO wins, covering up is probably very useless. I guess if your fighter has good ring iq and accuracy you can also use jab and move to score jabs, they are still points, but it can lead to a decision win, if your fighter jabs well, it can also lead to a wide decision win (some of my champions had multiple shutout 120-108 wins). @yousuck45lol

sorry for my long message above, can i ask to see your fighter, fight results and stats? That way I think I will have a better understanding @yousuck45lol

Sorry I deleted my fighter as I like to create new universes often but I can assure I checked the scorecards my guy was up 70-63 on all scorecards when my corner suddenly stopped the fight, it’s just not realistic for my corner to stop it at that point, we were both at critical health to be fair but then what’s the point of having the option of throwing in the towel if your corner can automatically stop the fight without any choice, it would’ve been different if the fight was stopped due to the ref or the doctor but my corner stopped it when I was easily winning the fight in a 12 rounder. If anything you keep pushing to win you don’t stop the fight when your up on all the judges scorecards just not realistic

Yea that can be annoying sometimes, it hasn’t happened to me yet, but hopefully they take a look at this and can do something about it.

In the meantime, if your fighter is at critical health, you should cover up for a round especially if you’re ahead on the cards. Cover up usually does the job but if your fighter just stand there and try to block the shots and he gets hit by too many unanswered shots the ref can stop it too.

So usually my second option would be to jab and move usually at critical health and it then my fighter is fine.

Other times I also use the “go to the body” and your fighter should score either a hard body shot knockdown or knockout win over their opponent, because a few of my fighters is like KO artists with records like 25-0, 25 KOs as the reigning champion. @yousuck45lol

I tend to be a finisher so I like to “go for knockout” “plant your feet” or “pile on pressure”, with it i had a 50-0 guy. I definitely need to work on my defense more but I’ll for sure try the jab and move more often because I feel like covering up is a guaranteed round loss every time, but it also might just be a stat problem as well. And the body shots are key as well, I like to mix them in every few rounds just to get their stamina down then go for the finish

what is your experience with plant your feet? for my fighters, even the ones that are really good with mostly 20 attributes and maybe a few 18 or 19, they are like 20-0 or 30-0 undefeated and when they are winning (close) fights or slightly edging, and I get comfortable to click plant your feet, it ends up making my fighter plant his feet but not move, like he gets hit with a combination, and sometimes the referee stops the fight @yousuck45lol

For me, I like to use go for knockout if my fighter has like a 100% or even 90% or higher KO% where he KO or TKOs win every fight, but for pile on pressure, sometimes when I use pile my pressure, my fighter decides to be stupid and not actually pile on pressure. Has this happened to you @yousuck45lol

Personally I play the game on the second mode where I can make each round go by 50x faster because I feel like punches are thrown frequently and I’m more likely to get a finish and just a lot more action is happening then the viewing mode and it is way faster. I usually let my fighter “keep working” for the first 3 rounds or so and ifs he winning comfortably I “plant my feet” or start to “pile on pressure and usually easily win my rounds, then when there critical damage starts to get higher, I start aiming for the knockout and while my fighter is actively looking for the KO he’s also damaging the fighter so a TKO or a ref stoppage should happen pretty early in the fight if it’s done right, I only really lose when I get an unlucky KO/ doctor stoppage or when I take chances fighting the boxers who have the better odds of beating my boxer, I like to fight the hardest boxers with the best record lol @Lucas_Lin

@Lucas_Lin it just happened to me again

My stool automatically stops the fight when I’m winning… needs to be fixed soon

@yousuck45lol Well that is odd. I can see that your well ahead and you scored a knockdown in round 8. Maybe there is something wrong with the game or the developer made it so that most of the time you should win but occasionally the stool automatically stops the fight when your winning.

Yeah agreed it’s no biggy hopefully it gets fixed soon though just for more realism everything else is great

Take a look at this, this was one of my fighters (his record is at like 13-6-1, one of my bad ones), or you can say I used him as a fighter that has credible wins to match with my champions or prospect when they lose. Even though I agree in this fight, the opponent did knockdown my guy in the first round but round 2 and 3 my guy won so I don’t see why retire on stool, whether or not my guy was gonna win the fight he could at least go the distance! @yousuck45lol

@yousuck45lol what do you think about my fighter that retired on the stool? Was it fair?

@yousuck45lol this is not my analysis, but I asked chatGPT to look at your fighter and explain what happened here is what it said:

Man, that is a brutal robbery, you were absolutely styling on him.

The game definitely didn’t target you or play favorites, though. If you look closely at the damage report screen, your End Stamina bar is pushed way into the red at 89% drain—your guy was completely out of gas.

In Boxing Manager, if your fighter’s stamina hits zero or they roll a hidden, freak injury behind the scenes (like a broken hand or a torn muscle from throwing so many power punches), the game engine triggers an automatic corner stoppage to “save” the fighter.

It completely sucks since you won every single round, but your fighter’s body basically just gave out on the stool.

idk if it makes sense but yeah

No I don’t agree with it I would let the fight continue on especially if the momentum is pushing in your favor it’s just not realistic to stop it in my opinion

Yea I agree with what you said. I don’t know if it will be too much but maybe the game can add actual communications between the corner and the fighter, like the corner man asking the fighter are you ok, or the fighter HIMSELF telling the corner man, or his trainer or whoever, I can’t fight on anymore, or actual back and forth talking, rather than the corner making decisions, what do you think? @yousuck45lol do you have any suggestions?

Just wondering, how do you get your good fighters? I typically sign top amateurs from early on (usually with 15 wins or more and no more than 3 losses, and then when i turn them pro they usually became either a Olympic medalist, or a multi-time amateur world medalist with like 33-5, 28-3 amateur records, sometimes even into 40+ wins), and i sign multiple amateurs at once, though I only sign Americans. I know in the game u can sign other champions and such but I mostly just have fighters I signed in the amateurs, turn pro, and become champions, what about you? I’d love to hear yours @yousuck45lol
