Really? Once you get a champion you should get plenty young fighters to sign who you can train to be champions.

I don’t normally sign anyone with below 13 or so on that stat. And with obvious potential to improve it. You may be very unlucky but iv had no issue at all getting potentially great rookies (once you win your first title).
You’ll find in 1.00.08 that the quality of fighters available to you at rookie or novice level is broader meaning more chance of stronger fighters. Also growth will take on greater significance. There will be considerably less opportunities to simply sign your way to success, developing fighters from scratch and attracting untested ones will be the measure of success moving forward.
