Predictions for this Weekend 🥊

Not as good of a weekend for combat sports as last weekend, but some interesting fights nonetheless. Here’s the ones that I care about. (I don’t have the same amount of time as last week to detail my views on these fights, but if you’re interested comment which fight you’d like to know my thoughts on and I’ll try to respond.)

Saturday’s DAZN card:

Robbie Davies Jr vs Darragh Foley: Davies Jr via KO/TKO round 5

Diego Pacheco vs Jack Cullen: Pacheco via Unanimous Decision

Johnny Fisher vs Alfonso Damiani: Fisher via KO/TKO round 2

Aqib Fiaz vs Dean Dodge: Fiaz via Unanimous Decision

Campbell Hatton vs Michel Gonxhe: Hatton via Unanimous Decision

Saturday/Sunday’s Aussie card (main event apparently will be on Showtime in the US but will be a Kayo sports PPV for the whole event)

Tim Tszyu vs Tony Harrison: Tszyu via Unanimous Decision

Paolo Aokuso vs Yunieski Gonzalez: Aokuso via KO/TKO round 4 (Aokuso is a stud prospect, former Olympian with incredible speed and defense)

Saturday’s ESPN+ card:

Tony Yoka vs Carlos Takam: Yoka via KO/TKO round 4

Thomas Faure vs Dan Azeez: Azeez via Close Decision (Maybe Majority or Split, probably a 7-5 round split Unanimous)

UFC Fight Night (not going to put how they win but just who wins)

Petr Yan vs Merab Dvalishvili: Yan
Alexandr Romanov vs Alexander Volkov: Volkov
Nikita Krylov vs Ryan Spann: Krylov
Said Nurmagedov vs Jonathan Martinez: Nurmagomedov
Tyson Nam vs Bruno Silva: Silva

Nice one @TheLatinSnake

Going to put some money down on these;)
Need a weekend of betting.
But not as much as I think we all need a massive weekend of really cool boxing.

5-3 heading into the end of the UFC card and the start of the Aussie card (5-2 on boxing, 0-1 on UFC)

Tony Yoka is done now, right? Got gifted a SD loss, clearly lost by a mile imo

7-5 now, two fights left.

Not my best work, but I called Spann being a fraudulent top 10 LHW

Closed the late night (and early morning) out with two correct picks. 9-5 on the weekend, not my finest work. But damn did Tszyu look good last night
