With the great new additions of rematches but also the difficulty of getting unification bouts, I think the rankings could do with a little tweak. I had a heavyweight unified champion who couldn’t get a fight so gave up the best belt, and he was immediately then ranked as 60, which is a long slog to get re ranked higher. Also when a champion loses the ranking drops can be quite aggressive so am finding it difficult to get rematches

It’s not a slog, when you fight your next match after vacating and you win, you jump straight back up to the same or above the guy you beats rank.

Yeah, I agree with Michael. It seems to be 2 or 3 fights and you have your ranking place back. Seems fair to me.
